What does living in Britain mean to you?

Springwell Learning Community is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils. Safeguarding children from all risks of harm is an important part of our school’s work and protecting them from extremism is one aspect of that. We have a duty to prepare our children for life in modern day Britain and to keep them safe.

By encouraging children to talk about their believes and values we aim to protect children at risk of being exposed to Extremism and Radicalisation.

In Class 1 we have been looking at our own identity and personal values. We then discussed what we thought British Values were and looked at democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and the tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
