For Community day Darton went to Hesley Wood Scout Campsite to help their crew clean up the place. They spent the day moving mud, picking up litter and making the site clean and useable! Community Day
For Commuinty Day Primary 1 have spent some time at Worsborough Mill picking up litter. We had collected quite a lot of litter once we had finished, hopefully removing all this litter will have a positive impact on all the wildlife that have habitats in the area. Careers morning
On Friday 1st July Springwell held its first careers morning as part of our PSHE topic on careers and the world of work. Pupils from years 7, 8, 9 &10 from school and some pupils from our Alternative Academies talked to further education providers to discuss their options after leaving year eleven. A massive thank you to the further education providers who came: ITS, Barnsley College, Fleets, YH – Military Prep Course, TIAG, Barnsley Football Club, Police, Apire IGEN and DVC.
